Accessing Your Campus Shared Drives and Z Drive

On Campus Access

Your Campus Drives and Z Drive will be mapped automatically when you log into an LSUS computer with your LSUS username and password. It can be found under My Computer or This PC. The most common Campus Drives map to drive letters I, J, and L. Your Z Drive will map to the drive letter Z.

Secure Web Access

If you are off campus you can still access your Campus Drives. The easiest way is to go to https://campusdrives.lsus.edu This can be loaded through a web browser and requires your username and password.

You can also access your Z Drive off campus. The easiest way is to go to https://zdrive.lsus.edu This can be loaded through a web browser and requires your username and password.

Secure FTP Access

You can also access your storage through an SFTP client. Some SFTP clients are WinSCP or FileZilla. You will need to enter some settings for each to access. These settings are below:

Campus Drive FTP Settings

Host: campusdrives.lsus.edu

Port: 22

Server Type: SFTP

The username and password is your username and password.

Z Drive FTP Settings

Host: zdrive.lsus.edu

Port: 22

Server Type: SFTP

The username and password is your username and password.

If you have issues accessing your Shared Drives or Z Drive please put in a ticket at our helpdesk or call ITS @ 318-797-5221.

PLEASE NOTE: There is an issue when you save your credentials for the website. Once logged in it will auto-fill your username into the search bar. This search bar filters out items that do not match. This will give the appearance that nothing is in your shared drives. Please see the following article for guidance on this issue: Why can't I see files on https://campusdrives.lsus.edu? : LSUS IT Helpdesk
